The establishment of the Specialised Institute for Professional Training of Teachers was approved on 29 December 2013, and the Institute opened in 2014. It serves as a national reference for educational training in the Sultanate of Oman.
Training and qualifying the teaching staff using the latest international training methods, in line with the strategic directions of Oman Vision 2040.
