English Language Experts Program
This 18-month program consists of three training modules and is designed for English language teachers with at least three years of teaching experience across all levels of school education. The program aims to develop the methodologies, approaches, and strategies for teaching English based on interactive, communicative, and active learning among participating teachers. It also aims to enhance their knowledge and skills in action research to improve teaching practices and address classroom problems in a systematic and scientific manner.

Training Modules
Training Module 1
Communicative language teaching and active learning, providing participants with opportunities to prepare and evaluate mini-lessons in which they apply what they have learned.
Training Module 2
Methods and approaches for creating and fostering learner independence and stimulating collaborative learning.
Training Module 3
Assessment for learning, promoting self-assessment, peer assessment, and the principles and strategies of regular feedback.

Applicants wishing to enrol in the Institute’s strategic training programmes must meet the following requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nominees must be members of the Ministry of Education's teaching staff.
- Applicants for the Mathematics Experts, Science Experts, Arabic Language Experts (Grades 1–4), Arabic Language Experts (Grades 5–12), English Language Experts, and Field Two Experts programmes must have at least three years' experience in their current position.
- Applicants for supervisory programmes must hold the relevant job title, or an official secondment decision, for one of the following: the Senior Teachers Programme (Senior Teacher, or secondment to that position); the Supervisory Experts Programme (Subject Supervisor or Senior Subject Supervisor, or secondment to either); or the School Leadership Programme (School Principal, Assistant School Principal, School Administration Supervisor, Senior School Administration Supervisor, School Performance Evaluation Supervisor, Senior School Performance Evaluation Supervisor, or secondment to one of these).
- Applicants for the Programme for New Teachers must be newly appointed teachers; enrolment is mandatory for all new appointees.
- An applicant's job title must match the target group specified for the relevant programme.
- Applicants may not be on full-time study leave for a Master's or Doctoral degree.
