This two-year program, consisting of four training modules, aims to empower Omani mathematics teachers of grades 5-12 to lead the improvement of mathematics teaching and learning in their schools. Based on the latest educational theories and contemporary research, the program enhances teachers’ abilities to design student-centered learning environments, implement effective teaching strategies, and develop students’ higher-order thinking skills. It also empowers them to use technology effectively in education, develop assessment tools, and apply action research to address classroom challenges. Furthermore, the program focuses on developing critical professional reflection skills and building evidence-based professional practices, contributing to raising the quality of mathematics education in accordance with Omani teacher standards and future skills.
