School Sports Experts Program (Grades 11-12)
This one-year program, consisting of two training modules, targets teachers of grades 11-12. Its overall objective is to empower participating teachers to become advanced practitioners in their field by providing professional training to acquire specialized professional competencies. This enables them to be at the forefront of student-centered educational change, equipping them with 21st century skills for professional competition.

Training Modules
Training Module 1: Sports and Technology
Areas of sports training, physical and skill preparation, and game plans for team and individual sports.
Training Module 2: Steps towards excellence and sustainable development in school sports
Educational initiatives, the school sports ambassadors program, the application of curricular programs, planning and managing sports events, effective teaching strategies in school sports, future skills, solutions to contemporary issues in classroom management and professional learning communities in school sports and sustainable development.

Applicants wishing to enrol in the Institute’s strategic training programmes must meet the following requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nominees must be members of the Ministry of Education's teaching staff.
- Applicants for the Mathematics Experts, Science Experts, Arabic Language Experts (Grades 1–4), Arabic Language Experts (Grades 5–12), English Language Experts, and Field Two Experts programmes must have at least three years' experience in their current position.
- Applicants for supervisory programmes must hold the relevant job title, or an official secondment decision, for one of the following: the Senior Teachers Programme (Senior Teacher, or secondment to that position); the Supervisory Experts Programme (Subject Supervisor or Senior Subject Supervisor, or secondment to either); or the School Leadership Programme (School Principal, Assistant School Principal, School Administration Supervisor, Senior School Administration Supervisor, School Performance Evaluation Supervisor, Senior School Performance Evaluation Supervisor, or secondment to one of these).
- Applicants for the Programme for New Teachers must be newly appointed teachers; enrolment is mandatory for all new appointees.
- An applicant's job title must match the target group specified for the relevant programme.
- Applicants may not be on full-time study leave for a Master's or Doctoral degree.
