Science Experts Program
This two-year program targets science teachers from grades 5-12, through four integrated training modules based on the latest evidence-based educational practices and international standards. The program aims to empower teachers to gain a deep understanding of effective science teaching theories and strategies, and to apply them in stimulating learning environments that contribute to improving student performance and enhancing the quality of education. Based on the results of international studies such as TIMSS, the program focuses on implementing the latest contemporary teaching strategies, developing 21st-century skills, and integrating technology thoughtfully and effectively. It also enhances reflective thinking and action research skills, and prepares expert teachers capable of leading professional development, building sustainable learning communities, and achieving future-oriented educational practices.

Training Modules
Training Module 1
Employing scientific inquiry strategies, promoting reflective practices, and building professional, evidence-based learning communities.
Training Module 2
Applying the latest contemporary teaching strategies, such as the STEAM approach, employing and enhancing various models of scientific inquiry, and methods of providing feedback.
Training Module 3
Developing problem-solving skills and applying digital innovation in education, while enhancing teachers’ abilities to prepare research proposals according to action research methodologies.
Training Module 4
Utilizing digital learning environments and virtual laboratories, and building teachers’ research capacities in action research and sustainable self-development.

Enrolment
Applicants wishing to enrol in the Institute’s strategic training programmes must meet the following requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nominees must be members of the Ministry of Education's teaching staff.
- Applicants for the Mathematics Experts, Science Experts, Arabic Language Experts (Grades 1–4), Arabic Language Experts (Grades 5–12), English Language Experts, and Field Two Experts programmes must have at least three years' experience in their current position.
- Applicants for supervisory programmes must hold the relevant job title, or an official secondment decision, for one of the following: the Senior Teachers Programme (Senior Teacher, or secondment to that position); the Supervisory Experts Programme (Subject Supervisor or Senior Subject Supervisor, or secondment to either); or the School Leadership Programme (School Principal, Assistant School Principal, School Administration Supervisor, Senior School Administration Supervisor, School Performance Evaluation Supervisor, Senior School Performance Evaluation Supervisor, or secondment to one of these).
- Applicants for the Programme for New Teachers must be newly appointed teachers; enrolment is mandatory for all new appointees.
- An applicant's job title must match the target group specified for the relevant programme.
- Applicants may not be on full-time study leave for a Master's or Doctoral degree.
