This year-and-a-half-year program consists of three training modules and targets supervisors in supporting supervisory positions within government schools, such as social guidance, learning resources, science labs, and career counseling. The program aims to develop the supervisors’ professional and research competencies, enabling them to perform their supervisory roles efficiently and effectively. It also focuses on enhancing professional practices, building supportive professional communities of practice, and utilizing action research to improve the performance of specialists and technicians, as well as supporting change in schools. The program contributes to empowering supervisors in supporting supervisory positions to be active partners in developing the educational process in schools across the Sultanate of Oman.
